Summer of Summer School!

This has been my summer of online classes! With the conclusion of MATs Boot Camp, I have now started Make It In Design. A course which is primarily focused surface design. Our first brief  was to create a pattern inspired by reflected light on water. Something I will admit, I was fascinated with as a child. I kept my design simple with some ink texture and digital coloring. I think it turned out really nice!

Today is my snow day off from work. We get fewer of these as we age into adulthood, but they still bring with them a sense of joy. And a bit of nostalgia for the warm summer months. Here is a quick doodle I did for the day.
