Long Hot Summer

Summer is one of those times when you plan many things, but only few of them get done. This past month much of my time has been taken up by a show, an aerial adaptation of The Tempest. Along with significant personal life changes coming on the horizon. This past month has been a long one and sadly I have been unable to get much art done. But I have dedicated what little time I did have to a paper cut piece inspired by the Tempest. I forget how much fun paper cut pieces are. I see a few more in my future I think.

DNA Pulse! Finished

Well I have been gone from the world of the internet for a good space of time. To start I was working on the  aerial show "Pulse" with DNA Theatre. It was a wonderful success! It was our first time performing at Theatre Project in Baltimore. They were wonderful hosts and the crowds were very good. But as theatre people know a show is all consuming so my life has been on hold for a short while, so now I am gearing back up again. I have some pictures for you of the pre-show and some shots of the show it shelf.

Also I have recently been trying to find a niche for my Etsy shop. I think I hit upon a wonderful idea with the birthday card I recently created for a friend. I shall be experimenting with this idea more in the weeks to come. Look for new things in my Etsy shop soon!

Window Display!

I was recently hired to design and install the permanent widow display for the Strand Theatre in Baltimore. They had a small budget but were very kind and worked hard with me. I based the idea off of old theatre signs.I incorporated the fact that they like to use woman in all aspects of their theatre with the silhouettes.
